Founded in 1991, the Aluminium Association of Canada (AAC) is a non-profit organization representing the Canadian primary aluminium industry towards the population, end-users, public authorities, and key environmental and economic stakeholders. The AAC strives to ensure that the Canadian primary aluminium industry is considered a world-class model of sustainable prosperity.
AluQuébec, the Quebec Aluminum Industrial Cluster, brings together producers, processors, equipment and specialized suppliers as well as research, development, and training centers to work on concrete capacity-building initiatives with the goal of doubling aluminum processing in Quebec over a period of ten years. AluQuébec coordinates working groups that create synergies between Quebec aluminum industry clients/users and stakeholders.
The Centre d’expertise sur l’aluminium (CeAl) is a documentation, development and diffusion centre focused on aluminum. The vision of the CeAl is to constitute a credible, widely known and recognized source of information and technical references for those seeking to make a more extensive use of aluminum. Its mission is to collect, produce and disseminate the knowledge available in the area of aluminum processing. Its mandate is to promote and facilitate the use of aluminum through technical support, training, referencing, and outreach. Established by AluQuébec, the CeAl stems from measure no. 14 of Québec’s aluminum development strategy 2015-2025 regarding the diffusion of expertise on aluminum.
