REGAL Students’ Day is a unique opportunity for students, researchers, professionals, technicians, professors and industrials to meet, discuss and share their knowledge of aluminium. The event is usually held in one of the 7 members institutions of REGAL. Some associations with large-scale and/or international events have also been done in the past, including COM in 2011, CIAC in 2013, ICSOBA in 2016 and ICAA in 2018 !

The JER is an event that is constantly evolving, both in form and content :
– 6 student conferences (1/institution)
– 1 guest speaker
– 1 posters session (65 in average)
– Networking lunch
– Formation on a theme related to aluminium

Founded in 1991, the Aluminium Association of Canada (AAC) is a non-profit organization representing the Canadian primary aluminium industry towards the population, end-users, public authorities, and key environmental and economic stakeholders. The Consortium de recherche et d’innovation en transformation métallique (CRITM) is one of the nine sectoral industrial research organizations across Quebec. Its mission is to foster innovation among metal transformation companies and help them grow their earning potential. The organization supports research projects and research companies/centers in a variety of fields, including process development, metal product design, energy efficiency, and environmental footprint reduction.

CRITM currently numbers about 70 members and is involved in 32 collaborative research projects worth $36.3 M, including $8.8 M in contributions from CRITM.
